Pininfarina has always strived for natural shapes that can convey efficiency and respect of the environment, an approach confirmed by its great commitment to the theme of eco-sustainable mobility. The 2uettottanta is in perfect harmony with nature, becoming the formal expression of a response to the needs of our day.
The design of the 2uettottanta combines stylistic simplicity with a strong character in the volumes and proportions, with details designed to underline the car’s dynamic and light personality. Therefore, the front end of the 2uettottanta underlines its true Alfa Romeo character. With its red profile inspired by the typical Alfa Romeo paintwork, the 2uettottanta is 1797 mm wide, 4212.6 mm long, 1280 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2500 mm. The proposed engine is a 1750 cc turbo which is positioned longitudinally.
The size and design of the tyres of the 2uettottanta are created specifically in collaboration with Dunlop. The rims are treated in aluminium in harmony with the rest of the car, and are a free interpretation of the classic five-circle Alfa Romeo pattern. They reveal the high performance carbo-ceramic Alfa Romeo brakes by Brembo.
The 2uettottanta Concept is also a tribute to Alfa Romeo, which celebrates its centenary in 2010.

Following Zagato’s gentlemen-driver heritage, the car has been commissioned by the Alfa Romeo Zagato collector Martin Kapp, during the Zandvoort Tribute to Zagato event, where more than 130 Alfa Romeo Zagatos were celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the brand.
Even the grandiose Quadrifoglio Verde was placed on the bodies of Zagatos of the Alfa Corse team numerous times. Among the most glorious moments is the victory of the Formula 1 championship of Juan Manuel Fangio, aboard his Alfa Romeo 159 bodied by Zagato, as well as the victorious Alfa Romeo 3000 CM bodied in 3 samples by Zagato.

2010 Alfa Romeo MiTo Turismo Sport

There is further choice to be had when it comes to engine power for the MiTo Turismo Sport. The sprightly 1.4 16V 95bhp petrol version available from £12,895 OTR is joined by the acclaimed 1.3 JTDM-2 95bhp MultiJet turbodiesel, which is available from £14,410 (£219 a month with a £1000 deposit).
While the 95bhp 16V petrol engine provides a fun and engaging drive, the advanced second generation MultiJet turbodiesel engine -JTDM-2 -perfectly complements the Alfa Romeo MiTo Turismo Sport philosophy of low emissions (112g/km of CO2) and fuel consumption (65.7mpg on the combined cycle) without compromising performance and driver satisfaction (0-62mph in 11.6 seconds).

In this latest package of improvements for Aston Martin DB9, hardware changes focus on the chassis, featuring a standard Adaptive Damping System (ADS) which offers a system constantly evaluating the optimum damper condition, similar to that seen on the DBS and Rapide models. Controlled by a button on the centre console, the two-stage adaptive dampers can be switched between their default mode, which is optimised for ride comfort, and a firmer sport mode, which delivers tighter body control and a more responsive feel. Such is the success of the Aston Martin DB9’s new damping system that the DB9 Sport Pack upgrade has now been discontinued. However a Sport design alloy wheel is available as an option.

Cygnet expresses a simple but fundamental idea: in the modern city, scale equates to speed and freedom. At just three metres long, the Cygnet gives the driver a new dimension of freedom, able to slot into gaps in traffic, exploit the smallest parking spaces, consume the least fuel and emit the lowest emissions, all while delivering exceptional levels of quality and comfort.
The Cygnet, a tailor fit solution for the city, will help drive Aston Martin into the future. “This car is reality; Cygnet is the natural choice for those who want a premium, bespoke commuter car.”
Further details on the Aston Martin Cygnet including pricing and specification will be announced later this year. The Cygnet will be the eighth major production car Aston Martin has introduced at its state-of-the art factory since 2004, offering further evidence of the company’s ongoing commitment to British manufacturing, backed-up by a dedicated local workforce and supplier network.

Like the XK model, the new XKR makes intelligent use of practical, modern technology such as its industry-leading monocoque body structure. In addition, a 420bhp (SAE) supercharged V8 engine and class-leading calibration of its state-of-the-art, six-speed automatic transmission bring it to a level of accessible, real-world performance that makes the XKR the most impressive, everyday, sporting GT in its class.
The XKR’s powerful statement of intent is emphatically reinforced by enhanced sporting styling cues such as a unique front bumper, aluminum-finish grilles and hood vents. Its unique 19- and 20-inch alloy wheel designs and a quad-exhaust system also add to its overall presence.
“The new supercharged XKR captures perfectly the essence of what makes a Jaguar XK so special,” commented Bibiana Boerio, Jaguar Cars managing director. “It is a perfect combination of refined Grand Tourer and serious performance sports car, that delivers a truly rewarding and exhilarating driving experience.”
